IT’S BETTER TO BE FAST, POWERED BY NIKE
SPRING 2025

        For FAST at UCLA’s marketing campaign leading up to our Spring 2025 runway show on May 31st, my pitch — powered by Nike — was founded on a simple question:

“WHY DO WE ONLY SEE RUNWAY MODELS WALKING?”
    

        In IT’S BETTER TO BE FAST, they instead sprint with an unstoppable kineticism only punctuatable by deep breaths and the geographic coordinates for the runway show’s venue— cryptic, but all the more enticing. This call-and-response tension builds for a final slo-mo shot. 

         Were these models late? On time? Stressed? Excited? We’re not quite sure, but the one thing we can be certain to take away is that it’s better to be FAST.
